There's a concept called "WEIRD bias" in psychology and social science: we make broad claims about human behavior based on experiments conducted on Western, educated, industrialized, rich, democratic subjects.

I think most developers are weird, too. In what ways is the average developer different from most users?

I’m not onebut I've noticed that developers tend to be tech-savvy, analytical, and problem-solving-oriented. 

But I'm sure there are many users who share these traits too…the WEIRD bias can be applied to devs as well!"
