Do you follow the news? All the numerous scandals that the pope has been involved in? Do you think a spiritual leader should be found in those circumstances? You don’t believe political bodies use the power of the Vatican to manipulate the general people?

I think sometimes, we need to recognize that the Church is a human institution that operates in the world, and as such, its leaders are not immune to the flaws and mistakes of human beings. Yes, I acknowledge that mistakes have been made But the question of whether the Catholic Church is "political" isn’t simple and depends on how we defines "politics."

Then why do they exalt the leaders that way? If we’re all human? Some people worship these people. Maybe not a simple one but you don’t think it’s influenced by politics in the least?
