It’s all political

The modern Roman Catholic practice of Church/State relations is not what existed in the first millennia. The Orthodox Church preserves a distinct, cooperative approach to Church & State (not a domineering one like you see from the Vatican).

I would respectfully disagree with that statement.  Catholicism has always been and continues to be centered around core religious beliefs
