I wonder why there haven’t been any changes all this while

They've taught basic math classes like this in colleges for years.  Especially in community colleges.  Two decades ago, I tutored math at a community college while I was knocking some credits out of the way to prepare to transfer, and 3/4 of the tutoring students were getting tutoring because the schools had failed them even then.

Cus everyone took it serious on reddit and kept on talking about how they make them take simple (math) courses too simple for the university or at a certain level study
