I lived all my life in the chicago area, loved nature enough. I also spend weeks each year in Hawaii, my sister lives there, and that is a larger kind of appreciation of nature. Now I live in rural Wisconsin, and the quiet allows me to be even more present in nature. It simply fills my soul up, so grateful.

how nice. Thank you for sharing it with me. I also lived in the city and now I live in a countryside 80 km from a city called Mercedes, in Uruguay. The countryside allowed me not only to connect with nature, it helped me connect with myself. Did the same thing happen to you when you left the city?

it's really a beautiful piece of earth, my sister went to college there and never came home. now my parents live there too, and it's my second home <3
