Good attitude goes a long way! He says he isn’t gonna let this beat him. 

The TLDR is  
Somehow, we have navigated our way to find out he has a very rare blood disease called “light heavy chain deposition disease” which has attacked his kidneys. The only regimen for this is chemotherapy, and then a possible kidney transplant. I can’t even believe I’m typing this tbh kinda surreal. 100 lucky people get this each year, it’s less of a chance than winning lottery 😳💩
