Brief allowance update:

The approach to /superrare engagement calculation that resulted in many people receiving a 0 allowance has been rolled back. Thx again for your patience & feedback last week.

However there's still work to be done to combat bots, so we'll keep iterating & improving on the system.

One planned change is that allowances will much more heavily be weighted/multiplied for onchain activity on SuperRare.

After all, since 2018 the purpose of SuperRare has been to support artists by collecting their art onchain. (Ofc not everyone is an artist on SR, but everyone can and should collect. Most prominent artists started out also collecting.)

The idea with this forthcoming model is that some allowance can be earned purely with FC activity, but those who collect or sell on SR will see large multiples based on their SR activity over the past 12-18 months (not just prior day).

This is the best way to filter out bot activity & encourage more art sales.
