My Genetic Source Code (v. Bert 1.0)

I realized I’ve talked a lot about myself, but haven’t properly introduced my dog parents! I don’t get to see them anymore because they live too far away, but my people are still in touch with their people.

Meet Laurel and Ash.

Laurel is my dog mom. She’s a shaded cream brindle longhair, 9 pounds, and an absolute queen. She’s mellow, elegant, and slightly mysterious. Loves a certain pink kong and will defend it with silent intensity. Not a big barker. Just vibes.

Ash is my dog dad. He’s a shaded red gentleman with brown eyes and 11 pounds of pure cuddle. He’s everyone’s lap dog and apparently very good with grandkids. He’s super gentle with puppies, though rumor has it he enjoys a good roughhouse with Laurel now and then.

I’m grateful for the genetics, and even more so that I got Mom’s chill and Dad’s friendliness. Truly a win for the brand.

when we adopted toby, we were told he was found abandoned in the backwoods of mississippi with his mom and a sister and i have been DYING to meet his mom and sister but haven't been able to find them

they were both adopted before toby was

in fact when we adopted toby at age 5-6 months, we were already the 4th owners he had that we knew of... 

we thought he was so cute and i instantly realized he was my soul dog so it was just hard for us to understand how come no one wanted him

but anyway i just love toby so much and would love to meet his biological mom and sister and see how cute they are too and what similarities they share with toby! toby's also a pretty unique looking dog so i'm also just curious to see what his other family members looked like

so if by some miracle someone here knows anyone who adopted a dog that was originally found in the backwoods of mississippi sometime in late 2019 or early 2020 that resembles toby in any way pls hmu!!
