Quick Midweek $OIL Update as I wrap up a bit of office work before shifting to harvest mode on the farm for the afternoon.

Community Challenge #6 is underway - see /fcof for the details

Initial WETH fees from Proxy were received yesterday and will be distributed to Whales and Tycoons tonight and tomorrow (snapshot was taken yesterday AM).

Initial $OIL fees (~1.3B barrels or 1.3% of the supply) will either be burned or locked into a very, very long term contract - more on this as a discussion with the community tonight - decision and action will be made this weekend.  Either way the $OIL received from proxy fees will be removed from circulation.

I intend to purchase a few more barrels of $OIL in the coming days as my vision for our future crystallizes a bit, giving folks advance notice.

Also, slated for sometime this week will be a FAQ/Explainer cast which will allow folks to catch up and share a little bit more about the intention behind $OIL and the /fcof as well as glimpse of the future.

It getting a bit late to go too deep into the "tokenomics" of $OIL including our Treasury...

So I'll just share that I purchased another 2B Barrels of $OIL across two transactions just now, cost a little more than 1 ETH at the time.  Feel quite confident that during this "long" period of consolidation folks have had plenty of time to get ahead of the game.

As my vision for the future continued to develop last weekend, I determined I would need a bit more $OIL on hand for a variety of uses, didn't want to dilute the current Tycoons and Whales fee dividends so waited until after the snapshot this week.

If you read the Midweek Update yesterday you will have seen that I intended to add a few more barrels in the coming days.  I think there is probably one or two more additions at some point over the next few days as I secure the necessary resources.
