Jung💛 believed that what is repressed in the unconscious will eventually find a way to surface—sometimes as a monster, sometimes as a forgotten truth. Perhaps the darkness within us is merely the voice of a part of our psyche that has long been ignored.

You are speaking My language! I spent ten years in a Jungian process group where we interpreted each other’s dreams, worked on our issues using Jung’s framework of the psyche, and studied Gnosticism.

I've always found the idea that what lies within us can shape the outside world incredibly powerful and intriguing. The thought that our inner truth has the ability to transform the external world is something I’d love to experience more deeply. There’s something about the gnostic belief in uncovering hidden wisdom and understanding that speaks to a deep part of me. It feels like a journey of self-discovery, where the more we explore our inner world, the more we can create the outside world with clarity and purpose. Unfortunately, I haven’t yet found myself on that path, or perhaps it’s better to say I haven’t yet gotten on it. 🥹
