What should we start with? - characters: just start doing contests for characters, with short bios and stories. Simplest approach. - archetypes: voting on a number (12?) of archetypes that future characters will fit under? - multiple: contest for worlds, items, characters, etc. Most complicated approach. https://frame.weponder.io/api/polls/28217

@tophb @freymon.eth , what if we combined both, in a way? Where the first 12 characters are the first of their archetypes?

you mean the first 12 voted characters? that would be great assuming no one creates characters of the same archetypes🤔 also do you mean after the first 12 any other creation has to be under a class of those first 12 archetypes? (i like this idea) well leaving it open can also be fun but i fear it may lead to some (for lack of a better word) irrelevance?……. if you could explain better though i’d appreciate it.

More like the first 12 contests are for 12 archetypes, but every archetype comes with an initial character, as a part of that first contest. And yeah, after the first 12 contests, all future characters have to fit under those first 12 archetypes. We could leave it broader? (they have to be one of those archetypes OR related to one of those first 12 characters). But we can also decide this later, after we have those first 12 archetypes and characters.

If I get this right 12 contest to form 12 characters? I'm thinking we have one contest for the formation of the 12 archetypes where each contestant can pick 3-6 archetype to work on.. dunno the duration we are looking at, but prolonging it to 12 contests can dilute attention and rewards. We state guidelines of how we want each archetype, and then people work on their characters and looks.
