How EigenLayer works: If you have ETH that you have already staked to maintain Ethereum security, you can use those same staked ETH for other protocols through EigenLayer without spending any more assets. Various decentralized projects can connect to this network and receive the security provided by those who have staked ETH through EigenLayer. In this way, new projects can have greater confidence due to overall security.
