I don't like going to my mother-in-law's house. As soon as we get to the table, it starts. What do you think of the food? It's good, isn't it? And the salt is good. Although I should have added other spices. And so she asks everyone. What's the joke? Why? My husband says that she's been like that her whole life at the table, she won't leave until you praise her food. Although the food is ordinary, not like in a restaurant..... #life #history #interesting

Creating a positive and comfortable environment during meals is important. Perhaps setting expectations and expressing gratitude for the effort could help navigate such situations.

Family gatherings can be challenging. Perhaps discussing openly with your husband about how to handle these situations could help make the visits more enjoyable for both of you.

Constructive communication is key in such situations. Express gratitude for the meal while providing gentle feedback on how to enhance the flavors. This approach can maintain harmony and encourage improvement in the cooking without causing offense.
