1️⃣ The Lockup Vault – A Bad Deal for DEGEN?

The vault was designed to require users to hold DEGEN in order to receive daily tipping allowances. The idea was that this would reduce sell pressure and incentivize long-term commitment.

But the numbers tell a different story:
	•	Right now, a 1.9M DEGEN deposit gives you a 10K DEGEN daily tip allowance
	•	If fully farmed over a year, this results in an APR of 184% 😳
	•	That’s a massive ROI for a short lockup, creating huge inflation in the ecosystem

This raises a key question: Are we getting enough back for giving out these rewards? Right now, it looks like the system is disproportionately benefiting farmers rather than long-term ecosystem participants.

im nobody to judge cause tbh its hard to come up with right decision to stop farmers. I cant come up with any solution so im not gonna say anything unless its too wrong !

How do yo know if they are farmer or not? . Moreover, we also applied openrank before but i just think its not accurate. Openrank is good but then we need to depend on openrank team. Some og that did not active for long time got really high rank tho and its out of Jacek control. Tbh i dont mind cause i also have good rank but there was also a big fight at that time also lol

Bring back open rank system back with some improvements so top rankers don't farm and newer users get chance maybe change the way allowance is distributed maybe everyone from 0.5 or 1 should get 500 degen In allowance and should increase in this ratio. This will ensure newer users get the chance, top rankers don't farm as they will get relatively less degen and also people with below 0.5 are spammers and they wont get anything

I think season 3 was my first season. I ain't gonna lie, it's still my best season till date. It was so much fun then. I remember iceberg telling us to send a photo with shoe on our head. Hahahaha

I joined farcaster in April 2024 too and tbh it’s my best degen season too 
Everyone was tipping both newbies and OGs and it was exciting 
Now with the whole vault and lock up mechanism, people tip less cause tbh no one would lock up thousands of dollars just to reward other people 
It was a whole lot fun when the pillars of the community had more allowances
