i’m all for putting content onchain and bringing new creators into the space, but we’ve got to stop chasing narratives that only last a few days: scenecoins, smartcoins, now contentcoins most of the people hyping contentcoins today were doing the same for rodeo a few months ago, calling it the new way to create and reward onchain content short hypes don’t bring people onchain. they push them away. CT comparing this to clanker or pump dot fun kinda says it all let’s keep experimenting, but if every dashboard ends up like this, we’re not really evolving

Isn’t this what exploration and testing pmf looks like? To test ideas, you need many people to come in and give it a shot. And if they don’t stick around then you haven’t found product market fit. Agree that often the marketing language may be sensational but eventually the chart will be a hockey stick instead of a momentary flash

yes, you have to explore and try things but trying != pushing narratives. that pump was made by base, and same happened now with zora try, test, find out.. but we need to be more careful with the attention we bring into it

This feels like a catch 22 doesn’t it? Try and test things and get insights from having enough people test it but don’t market and tell people about what you’re testing. How are builders supposed to iterate and test if they can’t build awareness for the new thing that they’re trying to bring to market? I’m not really sure what “being careful” achieves in this case. Let’s say only a small group tests first leading to what seems like the ideal dynamics you’re hoping for. So then you do a full gtm push dedicating money and resources to that. Then at scale, you see different dynamics that either you don’t want or people don’t like. This is the same outcome with more steps, time, and money reducing runway for builders.
