anyone have recommendations on learning algebra as an adult?

go to a book store with algebra books. Look at the early pages of the book, make sure you understand it, then look at the late pages, make sure you don't understand it. Then work through the book, and don't skip! Simplify the procedure and put all your energy into solving problems.

thank you! ive been using khan academy, starting from the most basic fundamentals. 

its so funny because back in high school i couldn’t grasp “why do i need to learn this?” and completely checked out. little did i know the technologies i would find interesting years later would all be based on algebra 😂
