Introvert/writer problems: On days when I have calls booked, it's always a crapshoot whether my brain will be able to shift back into "writing mode" after the call ends so I can get deep work done. Today's answer: nope. Nice try. Best I can do is this cast. Aspirational Zillow browsing it shall be, then. 😀

I have the same problem. Which is why I try to move all my calls to the same days and leave writing-only days. Barring that, I block off the morning and write before the calls begin.

I aim for that too. Doesn't always work out with others' schedules, of course, but when it does, it's great. Morning writing is the best! As much as possible, I rearrange the rest of my life around my morning writing hours.
