Don’t think coining content is bad and i love the experimentation but here’s a steel man argument:

1. Not all value is capturable or should be

2. Tokenizing content could kill what’s makes the content valuable - memes benefit from remixing, free sharing and virality 

3. Tokens can misalign incentives - do we end up with most content coins being predominantly digital spam, scams and engagement hacks 

All of these seem like valid criticisms.  I don’t think attention and culture  should always be monetized.

Not all value is ownable

To add: a lot of content actually seemed a whole lot better before mass monetisation became available - turning it into an effective stock ticker might just make it that much worse.
