One of the reasons I hate Discord. Like you want to join and contribute to a DAO, but it becomes so messy that it's just a waste of time trying to stay on top of every topic of it.

Probably that's just a matter of building the right announcements and choosing the right channels in the server that you want to track, but then it also depends on every DAO how they manage the conversations and communications...

There has to be a simpler way... Maybe AI is the solution? 👀

Discord was and is designed as a fun, chat platform for gamers, not really for business or organizational usage. It has probably had a very difficult to measure negative impact on the huge number of web3 projects that utilized and fully depended on it for communication, the most significant of which is visibility because nothing on Discord gets indexed by search or ChatGPT/AI.
