Anyone working on a fee predictor for solana defi txs.  What’s the optimal priority fee vs slippage setting?

There isn’t any classic write lock saturation. The account for the market can change an arbitrary amount per tx.

Interesting problem. They are both kinda "priority" fees and both become auctions at saturation, right?

I think the priority fee vs slippage setting should be dynamic and probably based on the recent onchain activity so that there's a setting that always has 90%+ chance of going through

Curious, why is slippage so high for small trades when there’s millions in liquidity for a lot of the buzzy tokens?

you can use helius to get a priority fee estimation.

I’ve settled on using Jito with slippage set to whatever % equates to the dollar loss I’m willing to tolerate given my jito tip

Practically, that’s working out as very tight slippage <0.5% with tips of 0.0001 - 0.001 SOL
