I took a break from alcohol in September and found an unexpected health improvement. Now I don’t want to go back—even though I do miss it. There is social pressure everywhere to drink, but I’m done. I know too many people who lost families, marriages, health and even lives to alcohol. It’s legal, so we don’t talk about it as negatively as we probably should. Might be delicious and fun, but no amount is good for you. If you're a person looking to make any other kind of change in your life, career, relationship, etc, try quitting alcohol and see what else gets better too. No time like a new year to try.

Congratulations on your positive change! Breaking away from alcohol's norms is empowering. It's a brave step that can inspire others to explore healthier paths and prioritize well-being over societal expectations. Cheers to new beginnings!
