My submission for TOKYO DAO logo competition.

My approach to making a logo after 15+ years of industry experience - it has to be simple enough to be readable in small formats (PFP), don't have complicated fx (for ease of use in print, etc.), be timeless (will it look good in 5-10 years?)

The Earth rotating in its own invisible axis felt like a good starting point for the cue 'autonomous'. The exploration for this spawned another concept (I'm yet to share) that later became by concept A 😁

My WIP submission for the Tokyo DAO logo

The shape is simple but you can see a lot of things in it: 

Kimono, Sumo fighter, Shibuya crossing (top view), Fuji-san mirroring in the water of a lake, a baby, a human, a Japanese. 

Also made a font. Appreciate your feedback and critiques.
