SUPPLY AND DEMAND Understanding supply and demand zones is critical to becoming a successful trader. To identify these I first identify areas of choppy price action. I then use the rectangle tool to extend these areas out into the future. You usually find that when price meets these zones again you will see some resistance. Much like trend lines, these zones are strongest on the first meeting and lose their effectiveness the more times price butts into them. When a supply zone is lost it becomes a demand zone and vice versa.
