Thought the /slowcore-hq crowd might appreciate this. I certainly do. "...wish there was a way to access interesting content without having to spend an excessive amounts of time on here... the fact that it's mandatory for creators and brands to be chronically online today kind of rugs deep meaningful work."

Recommendation engines based on user input and powered by ai should be able to scrape content from a variety of sources and deliver it to you in the form that you request (audio, newsletter, etc). There is no reason why this can't be built now. It's essentially a curation programme, but it won't be built by the same people who build the social networks that that content is usually posted on because they are interested in keeping users using for as long a time period as possible.

Also, this probably won't replace the need for scrolling through all of that content anyway because I think it's driven by a different desire. The content itself doesn't matter, it's the scrolling through infinite content knowing there is always something more, and something more than could be the best thing you've ever seen, that does.
