there is a big debate about $BTC as reserve currency. Opponents argue it's only a wealth transfer and supports the industry for no reason (e.g., https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4985877). While I am not a proponent either, for a fair comparison, I would be curious if anybody knows research on the effects of central bank's gold purchasing on a) gold price b) its distributional effects in terms of wealth (e.g., who holds gold and profits from central bank intervention) and c) supply chain effects (e.g., cost of capital for mining companies, equipment producers etc.)

Check out my thoughts on Agentic Tokenomics on substack https://substack.com/home/post/p-154768557 TLDR We discuss the emergence of "Agentic Tokenomics". Unlike traditional ICOs that start with fundraising for product development, MemeCoinOfferings begin by launching tokens to build community engagement before developing AI agent platforms. Some of these MemeCoins develop into AI agent platforms or Agents. The discussion includes correlation analysis of 542 AI agent tokens, finding different correlation patterns between market cap, liquidity, social metrics, and holder behavior across different token categories. High-cap tokens show strong, stable correlations with social metrics, while low-cap tokens are more volatile and speculative. We conclude that AI tokens should follow similar valuation metrics as traditional utility tokens when they provide actual utility and cash flows; but those tokens that don't will remain purely speculative, driven mainly by attention and engagement metrics.

what's the easiest, cheapest and safest way to launch an ERC20 token on base? there are various erc20 token launchers, but they are not audited or costs money or retain large portions of the token supply. What's the best alternative? (tokentool.bitbond.com/create-token... is great, but 0.015 ETH is a barrier for many people). It would be cool if anybody could easily launch a token for their agents, while retaining control of the token supply in the first stage.
