These liners defeat the purpose of an air fryer by restricting airflow and not allowing grease to drip.

As far as microplastics go, silicone is "mostly harmless", assuming it's phthalate-free. Not to get too saucy, but there's a reason it's a common material for adult toys these days. I'd avoid anything aluminum though, because alzheimer's.
