every couple days i stumble upon somebody cool here and investigate their lore a bit and find they have tens, hundreds of thousands of followers on other apps and do really cool things and yet they are spending oodles of time here posting to like 500 followers

Actually I’ve been thinking about what I’d love for my personal foot print on FC and I think it’s kind of what you described. I don’t desire hordes of followers but a nice crew of internet friends to ride the wave with and learn with is ideal. I do like the tipping allowance though, if I’m being honest. 🫡
