i had an awesome debate just now with a couple of folks i consider 🐐 onchain investors (they're on farcaster, btw)

crux of the debate was:

do you think Farcaster's growth to 1M DAU will be because of onchain dynamics (economic incentives)? or in spite of it?

i come down strongly on the side of "because of"

wdyt?

did the current DAU on Farcaster join because:

a) economic incentives 
or 
b) interest in another social media platform

trend line there

majority for the former if I had to put money down

serial /yoink'r building in the /arweave ecosystem with PDS.inc

Came for being early, and trying out new things, enjoyed the economic incentives, stayed for the vibes
