Based on the wording of his reply, and looking at his account, I think he is new to all this. My recommendation: He should read degen.tips and ask questions in /degen so he learns how tipping in FC works. He should hold onto the 10k DEGEN you gifted so he qualifies for the daily tip allowance.

Long it and check for a potential tipping allowance for holding 10K /degen-x has a number of frames for checking claim balance / token value / tip allowance etc.

Hold it and start tipping people. If you hold 10k $degen you can tip people by responding to their post with xxx $DEGEN (where xxx is a number) You can view your daily tip allowance on degen.tips website (it updates once a day)
