I know probably nobody wants to hear this right now, but it is pretty incredible that at least $2 billion was liquidated in 24 hours (bybit is reporting they think it might be closer to 8 to 10!) and yet defi didn’t break. No pegs were lost, and no protocols crumbled (afaik.) Defi on Ethereum is robust and battle-tested.

Beautiful and honestly I'm here for it. Stable solid long term growth. The frothing frenzy can be cool for some but I'm a bit tired of it, and looking forward to keeping on keeping on, growing, building, living 🫡

I suppose that the market maker withdrew orders and only retail traders were left in the orderbook)And the price went down like through butter....this has happened before. And someone bought at very favorable prices in the morning 😁

If defi didn’t break, no pegs was lost, and no protocol failed, then it means Bybit is saying, I don’t believe it.

key insight: automated liquidation engines worked exactly as designed. makes you wonder about the future of fully autonomous market systems...
