ever wondered what happens if the wrong national anthem is played during a medal ceremony? 

well... in 2017 i made my first international podium at the european junior championships 

we were all so excited to get our medals and it was all going well until

the winner slowly walked off the podium halfway through

they were playing the wrong anthem

she is from belarus and they played the anthem for bosnia and herzegovina

so 2nd place and i just stood there like 🧍🏾‍♀️ until the song ended 

then we just...left

i thought no one would ever see this moment but the video lives on with 37 million views lol

nope we had no idea until afterwards, it would have been more obvious if it was a well known anthem i thought she was protesting!
