My hot take for the day.  

When I was going for my powerbadge I was replying to 1000 casts a day for a few weeks and posting 3-5 photos a day for 4 months straight.  

I am here to support people, but more and more it seems like people feel entitled to it without doing anything 

It’s never been easy to get one.  Dont expect to be handed one without putting in the work.  

When was the last time you replied to 500 casts in a day across 10+ channels?

If you want to be seen reply, it’s always been the secret to this platform yet it’s so easy nobody believes it.

I am a maker. I communicate through photos. Also do metal casting, 3d prints,
AI, robotics and mashups of all of these things.

i think everyone is losing their power badges soon. I don't know what will replace it though. Mixed feelings on this one tbh 500 $degen

I think any system will have flaws and be exploited by farmers and bots, changing the rules all the time is really the only way to stay ahead.  its frustrating but necessary. just have to keep learning and try to stay ahead with genuine use and content.

I am still having a pretty great time compared to any other social media experience.   :)

yes, was so much fun at first here. I guess a change will be good. Let's see what they come up with
