The only way Google+ could have been saved was ousting the people that started the tiny communities that were not prepared to handle the growth.

Many parallels I am starting to see here people that start channels are not the people that can handle large thriving communities that grow beyond what the founder envisioned

I had a photo community with 250,000+ people and saw many other communities burn to the ground because the founder of that community wanted to keep the vibe of the 500 member group when they ballooned to 10-40,000. 
The this is mine so go fucx yourself mentally is dangerous. Early channel poachers have this vibe.
