I don’t think you guys understand just how bad normie sentiment is towards crypto sometimes. It’s REALLY BAD.

I more so bring this up so you can be clear eyed about mass adoption

different POV:

my family, friends, and former colleagues all think *better* of crypto because i work in it and have strong conviction about the technology

yes, they're still a little icked but less so because of me

believe in the power of good, kind, interesting (crypto) people

Crypto would be light years ahead of where it is now if it wasn’t a fomo fueled speculative asset with no real world uses (I think 80% of crypto is useless trash that has no real world use)

Cryptos biggest failure was it being sold as a money replacement.  It’s the worst thing imaginable at being “money”
