Solar becoming cheaper, capacity going up combined with batteries becoming cheaper and energy density going up - weโre trending towards unlocking new futures that were previously inaccessible - an interesting time for sure

I was just reading about it this past week - The Economist also published a very bullish series of articles on the exponential growth in solar power generation and how cheap and abundant energy will transform the world. If we can get energy costs to be negligible, and with no meaningful externalities like we have with GHG, weโll finally be nearer to a Kardashev type 1 civilization https://www.economist.com/leaders/2024/06/20/the-exponential-growth-of-solar-power-will-change-the-world
