It seems like the tricky part could be permissioning: Who officially represents the token? How do they initiate the designation? How does FC side vet and approve?

Yeah. Perhaps the token deployer wallet address would need to be connected to the FID of the person requesting the mini app link?

Well, I guess it would depend on how the token was deployed in the first place. But if it’s Clanker, Virtual, Rainbow, etc…I think it’s pretty easy to track the wallet that requested the deployment. There’s probably a way to automate that for verifying “ownership,” right?
