I think about it in 2 realms: democratizing access / ability to save time

* Personal Computer/Smartphone - access to scalable computational functions (smaller specific workforce, less manual calculation) 
* Internet - access to info 
* Crypto - access to finance
* AI - access to new ide

still mostly analog. patterns, builder, entrepreneur, analyzing your transactions since 2016

But to keep to your original concept, I would say that AI is a tandem bicycle to the mind. 

You are riding along with a new entity that is capable of doing so much more than you are computationally, but it is still somewhat limited by your own input

I think you are right that "new idea" isn't the right thing; but I was trying to capture the nature of conversation. Sometimes a person will respond to me in a way that spawns a new idea for me.

Nope, I don't think access to new idea is the thing. Ex: I can't ask ChatGPT what precise market I should serve, what product fits a market, and what features to build for my product. It's good at certain tasks. Some smart people think it will ultimately be able to generate new ideas. Not sure if true.
