It seems this would reduce incentives for timing games and make sandwiching riskier at a minimum.

Hear me out: say proposer n+1 receives block n late in the slot and sees that that block doesn’t yet have enough signatures and can be voted out with proposer boost. Would it be good to have a fast relay offering optimal reorg blocks?
