Some former clients of the bankrupt FTX exchange will not be able to get their funds back. Among them: Russia, Ukraine, Egypt, Iran, Nigeria, China, Saudi Arabia. The fact is that the BitGo and Kraken exchanges will not be able to make payments to citizens of these countries. FTX representatives acknowledged the existence of problems with payments and stated that they may revise the list of crypto exchanges through which funds will be returned. The first phase of payments is expected to begin in March 2025.
