This tweet entirely ignores the proposal's motivation. The motivation to change the issuance is that ETH's moniness is at risk. If you read this proposal and you merely think this is to make another group rich, you're missing the point.

Again, this thread isn't directly answering to the motivation for changing the issuance curve, which is extensive.

5. Anyways, my point is actually not to bash the X posters mentioned in article. My point is that this is how mainstream publications and attention on the web works. Arguments, especially from a decentralized community, will be picked up by journalists to write articles.

6. IMO this is why the "Farcaster ivory tower" argument has to be taken seriously! Yes, you may not like X or whatever. But at the end of the day, what ends up being written there can easily become "public opinion," whether you like that or not.

7. If the people with good opinions towards Ethereum end up not being on X, this doesn't mean that there WON'T be opinions about Ethereum on X. In my view, it just means that the suboptimal opinions might win over there and then articles will be written that may paint an unfavourable picture.

8. Does this mean we should all be on X again? Probably not, but I think it is worth to acknowledge this issue as real and think about what to do.
