I think it regresses to Filecoin, Farcaster, ENS and other protocols that‘ll make revenue generation harder for big tech and threaten their monopolies, if crypto can grow larger

i think i see your point; farcaster is a great example to make your case! genuine question: would something like ENS be possible without a blockchain (which by definition *must* have a token)? if there's a token, it inevitably leads to competition with the state
