why do street performers not use linktree? seems like the perfect demographic to have payments links, socials, etc. 

i usually see just one venmo qr code or a bunch of qr codes that fight for attention

My guess is that 

- linktree is mostly used where users only have one link they can display (on their profile); no link scarcity on the streets
- it may be unclear to average people that it can lead to a social payment app
- people who tip are looking for their app to move on
- more qr codes = more scan targets

Yep. Scan and tip is faster and avoids decision fatigue

Most people use one or the other. I see Venmo I go Venmo. I’m not like which of my payment apps have more of a balance (but I do do that with crypto wallets ha!)
