Wild how big of a difference remastered records make for heavier music! I never got into Converge's earlier work until I listened to the You Fail Me one. A lot of underground heavy music had really awful production, so remastering by a real pro can work wonders. For heavy music it's a fine line between making ears bleed and epic emotional intensity.
