most of you don't know that you are an artist. you think you're the title you're given at your workplace or by society.

art is everywhere, if you've got the eye for it. 
you won't create art, if you don't put heart in what you do. 

to the ones who put heart in their work, are artists for me - it takes me 30s to get a pulse of the joy their work brings to them. the ones who don't put heart are just getting by. unhappy. always looking for the next job. next big opportunity. 'if this, then that' mentality. 

if you're a vc, your memos/thesis' is your art. 
if you're a coder, your codebase is your art. 
if you're a pm, your product is your art. 
if you're a designer, that one lousy happy diwali poster is your art. 
if you're a writer, your words etched anywhere is your art.
if you're a sales guy, your sales pitch & charm is your art. 
if you're a bartender, the act of making a drink is your art.

you're selling your art more often than not for virtually important things (money, position, status), and i want you to know that you're losing it's purity in transaction. 

most are unaware that they're capable of creating art. 

art, much like the reality & world you've designed around you, is subjective. there's no single being who's experienced the world in an objective lens. 

and hence, thx to subjectivity, to me, everything is art.
