quite love the fact that @dwr.eth & @v are just hiring their power users. they understand your products nuance, can think from a users shoes, can highlight what works for them/ what doesn’t. all consumer founders should follow this playbook for hiring. work with your power users. @srijan.eth @div knew this all along — half our team are cm power users!

most of you don't know that you are an artist. you think you're the title you're given at your workplace or by society. art is everywhere, if you've got the eye for it. you won't create art, if you don't put heart in what you do. to the ones who put heart in their work, are artists for me - it takes me 30s to get a pulse of the joy their work brings to them. the ones who don't put heart are just getting by. unhappy. always looking for the next job. next big opportunity. 'if this, then that' mentality. if you're a vc, your memos/thesis' is your art. if you're a coder, your codebase is your art. if you're a pm, your product is your art. if you're a designer, that one lousy happy diwali poster is your art. if you're a writer, your words etched anywhere is your art. if you're a sales guy, your sales pitch & charm is your art. if you're a bartender, the act of making a drink is your art.

the best thing majoring in economics taught me is to think from first principles. changed everything. I don’t remember a single formulae / concept et al. but it helped to seek truth (and not think basis gut/taste/half-baked opinions) study math, econ, history & physics. i didn’t study the latter. read 7 brief lessons on physics by carlo rovelli 2-3 times. for basic ideas.

optionality exists in everything; food to order -> shopping -> stocks/tokens to buy -> gf -> company to work for almost everything if you’re smart, good looking & competent (which u r) analysis paralysis isn’t a poor man’s choice it’s for those who don’t know what they want (or what they’re looking for)
