How about onchain ticketing like GET Protocol?

Think ticketing is a great use case but falls outside of physical infrastructure (DEPIN) or DeRENs (resource networks)

Right but the nature is that ticketing is more about the experience than it is about the physical infrastructure or accessing a digital commodity / resource network (e.g. compute).

This is exactly what is changing when bringing the tickets on-chain! It's no longer only the experience.

What is happening is the NFT ticket becoming the source of truth for admission rights (any type), embedded wallets the identifier and authenticator, and the token the value transfer (on-/off-ramp)
