Can Onchain ticketing replace ticketmaster? I hope onchain ticketing disrupts ticketsmaster and cuts out the middlemen. Securing a ticket for a concert has become a major source of frustration for fans, fake tickets, tickets vanishing in seconds, service fees that often surpass the face value of the ticket, scalpers etc. I am conviced that onchain ticketing can solve the current issues in the ticketing industry.

I really hope so. As an avid concert goer for the past 20 years, the fees and monopoly has really gotten out of concern. The run is that ticket master now owns many of the venues nationwide. 200 $FARTHER

Especially in the US, they own a large deal of the large event venues, I believe in the range of 80-90%. In addition, they own the whole vertical.

It genuinely makes me furious. I am into a lot of mid-level bands and most of the time the fees are MORE than the ticket.
