At the very least, no body governing so many people, should exist without liquid democracy. We need to be able to instantly revoke our delegated voting rights from a representative who proposes something heinous. 

Citizens should always have the right to vote for themselves on issues or have a representative vote for them. The representative-only system of democracy made sense in the offline age to some degree, but it makes no sense in the online age.
