I’m a big believer that network effect is the most important factor. Many of the biggest accounts have moved to Bluesky. While Farcaster has staked out particular niche, I suspect Bluesky will be the more direct X/Threads competitor, and most folks will want to have an account there as well as here

I assume you mean, the dominant market share. I don’t think a single protocol is ideal. Decentralization demands a certain amount of redundancy and ability to exit.
