He wasn’t the worst option but his views on the rights of human beings who are not cis or straight seem to be, at least from some previous statements, incompatible with my being in favour of him. We shall see if he has seen the light and is going to treat ALL of god’s children with the same love and kindness one should expect from a major religious figure.
